Code of conduct
Members agree to abide by the Code of Conduct on signing their Declaration of Acceptance of Office at the start of their term and in most cases will also have received appropriate training in the Code.
At the start of the meeting, members will make a declaration if anything contained within the agenda is of a personal and/or prejudicial interest to them. When this happens, the member would complete a declaration of interest form and would leave the chamber (there are some exceptions) when the item is being discussed.
