Gelligaer Community Council represents and serves 8 small villages in South East Wales: Gelligaer, Penybryn, Glyngaer, Penpedairheol (Cascade), Tiryberth, Glanynant, Cefn Hengoed, Hengoed and a delightfully bustling town – Ystrad Mynach (which includes Tredomen and Penallta).
