NOTICE OF CO-OPTION VACANCY IN THE CEFN HENGOED WARD
Notice is hereby given that Gelligaer Community Council intends to co-opt a member to fill a vacancy within the Cefn Hengoed Ward.
Expressions of interest are invited from members of the public interested in representing their community on the council. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and be a British citizen, eligible Commonwealth citizen, citizen of an EU member state, or qualifying foreign citizen. Additionally, candidates must satisfy at least one of the following qualifications:
- Be registered as a local government elector for the named area.
- Have occupied land or other premises in the community as owner or tenant during the entire preceding 12 months.
- Have had their principal or sole place of work within the community during the entire preceding 12 months.
- Have resided within the community, or within 4.8 kilometres (3 miles) of it, throughout the preceding 12 months.
